Working at the Charité
The Institute of International Health is dedicated to patient care, research and teaching. Since 1999, the institute hosts the postgraduate, English-language Master's programme in International Health. The Master's programme consists of the four parts: the so called core course, the advanced studies period (advanced modules), the acquisition of relevant professional experience (if not already obtained prior to the studies) and a research project (thesis). A part of the advanced modules can also be completed at the institutions of the tropEd network. Currently, ca. 170 international students from over 30 countries are enrolled in the programme. The programme employs an academic coordinator, two research associate (1.3 FTE), three administrative positions (2.4 FTE) and three student assistants. Adjoined to the programme are third-party funded alumni and scholarship programmes.
