Our project aims to advance our understanding of autoantibody-mediated diseases by characterizing NMDAR autoantibodies at the molecular level and supporting the development of novel targeted therapies. We work at the intersection of neurology and immunology, collaborating with experts in structural biology, neuroscience, and cell therapy. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking research that could transform the treatment of autoimmune encephalitis and is part of a newly established DFG-funded Emmy Noether Programme investigating autoimmune encephalitis through both wet-lab and computational approaches.
