Working at the Charité
In the SP-EU project, funded by the European Commission in the Horizon Europe program, leading scientists from 20 institutions across Europe will come together to investigate the potential of social prescribing to improve access to health and social care for people in vulnerable situations. Together with the three target groups a) LGBTIQ persons b) refugees and first-generation immigrants, and c) elderly people living alone, we will first adapt the concept to suit the target groups and then test it using a multi-national, pragmatic, randomized controlled trial The study will be accompanied by a comparative qualitative study and dissemination measures.The Institute of General Practice and Family Medicine at Charité coordinates the entire project and leads the intervention study.
