The Charité International Office provides support to every international researcher and student who has been accepted for one of the following positions in human medicine or dentistry:

• Researchers (with or without a contract)
• Students / Doctoral Candidates /DAAD Scholarship Holders
   

and their family members.

Charité host institutes are also welcome to contact the Charité International Office team if they have any questions regarding the stay of an international guest.

Please note we do not provide services to clinicians or medical personal.

Members of the following institutes are also not included in our scope of services:

• Berlin Institute of Health and its affiliates such as
• Julius Wolff Institute
• Berlin Brandenburg Center for Regenerative Therapies (BCRT)
   

as well as those from external associated research institutes:

• Fraunhofer Institute
• Max Delbrück Center (MDC)
• Max Planck Institute (MPI)
• Robert Koch Institute (RKI)
• German Rheumatism Research Center (DRFZ)
   

Participants in all Research Training Groups /Structured PhD Programs are also not included in our services.

Should you belong to one of the aforementioned groups and have questions about your stay, please contact your host department, institute or study program for support in this regard.
 

The Charité International Office supports international researchers and students with various questions about arriving and starting at the Charité. This primarily concerns administrative and immigration matters.
