The Charité offers support and development opportunities for academic researchers, teachers and clinical scientists across all career phases. The training academy provides a broad range of advanced training offers – from scientific work and leadership skills to the acquisition of third-party funding. BIH's Biomedical Innovation Academy and the Berlin University Alliance also offer a wide range of further training courses that Charité employees can attend. Mentoring programs enable the professional and personal exchange between different levels of experience and support a targeted career development. The Charité International Office supports international researchers when they start working in Berlin, for example with administrative processes and guidance for their new working environment.
Promoting talented, motivated and committed scientists is a central objective of the Charité. For this reason, we support you at every career stage – from studies to academic independence – with structured promotion programs and a wide range of career opportunities throughout your academic career. The Academic Grants' Committee is responsible for the scientific selection of the recipients.
Additional specific support and qualification programs are available for individual career phases. These are listed separately in the respective sections.
