Allgemeiner Rahmen des ERU Projekts:
Die Einstein Research Unit (ERU) “Technologies in Global Health – From Innovation to Users (and Back)” untersucht, wie globale Gesundheitstechnologien wie Impfstoffe, Diagnosemethoden und Antibiotika in unterschiedlichen globalen Kontexten effektiv eingesetzt werden können und versucht, die Faktoren zu identifizieren, die die Akzeptanz, Anpassung und Nutzung solcher Technologien beeinflussen, um ihre Wirkung in unterschiedlichen sozialen, politischen und infrastrukturellen Umgebungen zu verbessern.
Im Mittelpunkt dieser Arbeit steht das Konzept des Nutzer-Technologie-Lebenszyklus, das die Entwicklung, Prototypenerstellung und Implementierung sowie die Rolle der Nutzer in diesen Prozessen umfasst. Forscher der Berlin University Alliance, bestehend aus der Freien Universität Berlin, der Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, der Charité-Universitätsmedizin Berlin und der Technischen Universität Berlin, arbeiten eng mit Partnern aus sieben Forschungseinrichtungen in Ghana, Uganda und Tansania zusammen. Gemeinsam entwickeln sie inter- und transdisziplinäre Fallstudien mit den Schwerpunkten (1) psychisches Wohlbefinden, (2) Antibiotikaresistenz und (3) Impfstoffe. Drei Forschungsgruppen bringen Fachwissen aus den Bereichen Anthropologie, digitale Innovation, Ethik, Ingenieurwesen, Medizin und Psychologie zusammen.
Die dreijährige Förderphase des ERU Projektes beginnt am 1. Januar 2026.

Information regarding the position
- Paygrade XXX according to TVöD VKA-K. Your job grade depends on your job qualification whereas the experience level depends on the number of working years. The yearly gross salary is hereby provided based on a full time position excluding yearly bonus and additional pay. You may find further information here
