Charité Universitätsmedizin - Berlin is one of the largest university hospitals in Europe. The neuroscience research center is located at the Campus Mitte and offers a highly professional collaboration in a motivated and interdisciplinary research team.We are looking for a postdoctoral researcher for the research group of Dr. Livia de Hoz. The group focuses on the auditory system and investigates, among other topics, statistical learning in cortico-subcortical circuits.This is a part-time position (75%), limited to 5 months, with an immediate start.
Job overview
- Planning and conducting experiments as well as computer-based analysis of high-dimensional neuronal data
- In vivo electrophysiology
- Publication and presentation of research findings

- Participation in regular lab meetings and journal club
We are looking for
- Completed university degree including a PhD in neuroscience, biology, biotechnology, computer science, or a related field
- Excellent proficiency in spoken and written English
- Proven track record of high-quality original publications
- Experience with in vivo work in rodents, particularly electrophysiology and behavior
- Experience in neuronal data analysis (Matlab, Python)
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skillsAbility to work independently, creatively, and with attention to detail
- Flexibility for collaborative teamwork in a research group

Job Information
- Salary group E13 according to TVöD- VKA- K. The classification is based on qualification, the respective experience level is calculated from the years of professional experience. The annual salary (gross) is given for a full-time position without annual bonus, allowances and additional services
- The working time is part-time with 29,25 hours per week
- At our company 30 days of vacation are standard
- According to TzBfG § 14 Abs. 1 The position is limited to five months
