Range of duty
- Your task will be to design and implement the backend for a new evaluation application for studying medicine at the Charité. A high degree of technical understanding and critical thinking will be required to develop this application and integrate it into currently existing infrastructures in a scalable and seamless manner.
Your tasks
- Implement API-interfaces, new features and services
- Be responsible for the integration of the application with Moodle and EvaSys
- Create thorough and detailed concepts
- Further analyze and develop existing processes/infrastructure

Requirements
- A technical or university degree (preferably in computer science)
- Backend development experience
- Good knowledge about the design process and implementation of RESTful APIs
- Experience with PHP and Moodle development
- You enjoy working in a team and are used to working together in larger project groups, where you work on sub-areas in a committed, independent, responsible and flexible manner.
- A good command of German and English
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills
- Strong quality awareness

The IT division of the Charité has technical responsibility for all central applications in research, teaching, health care and administration. Within the IT division, the research and teaching department offers application and module support for the faculty's central IT processes and ensures the maintenance and further development of these IT processes. Together with the Vice Dean's Office for Studies and Teaching, an app is being developed to improve the evaluation of teaching as part of the Berlin Quality and Innovation Offensive (QIO).
